Bach's St John Passion

The St John Passion is one of Bach’s most intimate and emotionally charged choral works, especially suited to chamber choirs and small ensembles. This performance promises to be a highlight of the Stondon Singers’ Golden Anniversary year. It features a stunning array of professional soloists, accompanied by The John Jenkins Consort playing period instruments.

Our soloists have, collectively, performed with The Sixteen, Opera North, The Cardinall’s Musick, Tallis Scholars, The Academy of Ancient Music and Ex Cathedra, among other ensembles.
